Whenever a book is made into a movie, the inevitable question arises: Which is better? The movie or the book?
In this case, it would seem both are good, although the book is a little more detailed, and according to my daughters "a little bit better". If you liked the book, the movie is pretty true to the story. The Fault in Our Stars is a book that has really given teen fiction a huge following. The book is number one on the New York Times Bestseller List, and has been on the list for 79 weeks! It is a credit to John Green that four of the top six Teen novels are authored by him, including number two; Looking for Alaska, and three; Paper Towns. The movie finished the weekend with a take of $48.2 million - not to shabby considering the production budget was a modest $12 million. What's next for John Green fans? According to Time Magazine, Paper Towns is already moving along the path of movie production. Since the film will not be released until 2015 at the earliest, you probably need something to occupy your time until then. Do you simply adore the writing style of John Green?
