Mermaids!

Mermaids, those mythical creatures with a human torso and a fish's tail are suddenly the stars of many teen fiction books.  If you enjoy your paranormal romances "under the sea" try one of these books available at the Greece Public Library!

Just for Fins by Tera Lynn Childs. When Lily Sanderson decided to remain Crown Princess Waterlily of the mermaid kingdom Thalassinia, she knew she couldn’t just coast along in the current. But since she’s spent the last couple of years on land—with gorgeous human Quince by her side—Lily’s not sure she has the fins to lead a kingdom.

Lies Beneath by Anne Greenwood Brown.  Calder White lives in the cold, clear waters of Lake Superior, the only brother in a family of murderous mermaids. To survive, Calder and his sisters prey on humans and absorb their positive energy. Usually, they select their victims at random, but this time around, the underwater clan chooses its target for a reason: revenge.

Tempest Enleashed by Tracy Deebs.  As the dangerous war erupts, Tempest’s two loves—Kona and Mark, sea and land—will collide for the first time, both to protect her and to force her to choose between her life in the sea or on land.

Vicious Deep by Zoraida Cordova.  Tristan Hart  was gone for three days. Sucked out to sea in a tidal wave and spit back ashore at Coney Island with no memory of what happened. Now his dreams are haunted by a terrifying silver mermaid with razor-sharp teeth.

Between the Sea and Sky by Jaclyn Dolamore.  For as long as Esmerine can remember, she has longed to join her older sister, Dosinia, as a siren—the highest calling a mermaid can have. When Dosinia runs away to the mainland, Esmerine is sent to retrieve her. Using magic to transform her tail into legs, she makes her way unsteadily to the capital city. There she comes upon a friend she hasn't seen since childhood—a dashing young man named Alandare, who will change from a friend to her greatest love.
